The Balochistan provincial government has decided to close the border

The Balochistan provincial government has decided to close the border with the province altogether following an increase in corona virus cases.


 According to a notification issued by the Balochistan government, due to the increasing number of cases of Corona, the Afghan-Iranian border adjacent to Balochistan will be completely closed, which will be implemented immediately. Balochistan will have a holiday on Saturdays and Sundays and market hours will be from 6 am to 6 pm.


   According to the notification of the provincial home department, only traffic will be allowed at the border in case of emergency. Shopping malls, shopping malls and markets will be closed on Saturday and Sunday.


   Inter-provincial public transport will also be banned on Saturdays and Sundays, but passengers will be able to travel within 50% of the city's passenger capacity. Meetings and cultural festivals will also be banned.
   Market hours will be from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Taraweeh prayers can only be offered in open spaces, while parks and recreational areas will be completely closed. Papandi will be applicable from today till May 1.


   It should be noted that the spread rate of Corona virus in Balochistan has reached 8% while in Quetta it has reached 8.6%. In the last 24 hours, 82 new cases of corona virus have been reported in the province.
   In addition, two more schools in Quetta were closed due to the spread of the corona virus, bringing the number of schools in the city to six in two days.
