Pakistan:was included in the strongest voice to end the Israeli aggression against the Palestinians.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi Saturday said Prime Minister Imran Khan was no merchant, 


 Islamabad:Qureshi said that Pakistan was included in the strongest voice by the international community to end the Israeli aggression against the innocent Palestinians in Gaza.


  He stressed that at this critical time, the entire Pakistani nation is expressing solidarity with its Palestinian brothers.


  He said that Pakistan was open for dialogue with all its regional neighbors to find peaceful solutions to all outstanding issues.


  He appreciated the cooperation of the Pakistani-American community in strengthening Pak-US relations and said that Prime Minister Imran Khan considered them a great asset to the country.


  Qureshi said the Pakistani-American community still continues to support its country's interests in the international arena by sending increasing remittances.


  He assured the expenditure that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, special emphasis was being laid on ensuring the provision of efficient services to them.


  He also explained how the government is actively legislating reforms in the delivery of public services to residents and Pakistanis abroad, including measures to allow Pakistanis abroad to cast their valuable votes. Being done.


  He added that the government was taking all possible steps to ensure national food and water security.


  Qureshi, meanwhile, reaffirmed Pakistan's desire for a broad-based partnership with the United States that would advance the common interests of both countries in bilateral and regional fields.


  A State Department spokesman said in a press release that the Secretary of State spoke with the leadership of the US House of Representatives Subcommittee on Asia, the Pacific and Non-Proliferation during his engagements with the United Nations in New York.

  The Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of enhancing bilateral trade and economic cooperation to promote regional connectivity.


  He highlighted Pakistan's efforts to facilitate peaceful, political settlement in Afghanistan, stressing that peace in Afghanistan is a shared responsibility of Afghan parties and key international stakeholders.


  Congressman Beira and Congressman Chubot thanked the Foreign Minister for his briefing and appreciated Pakistan's invaluable contribution to regional peace and security.


  He acknowledged the enormous potential for expansion of Pak-US bilateral relations and agreed to work towards further enhancing US-Congress relations with Pakistan.


  Qureshi also spoke to Thomas Suzy, a member of the House of Representatives from New York.


  Congresswoman Suzuki is also the Democratic co-chair of the Congress Pakistan Cox.


  The Secretary of State and members of Congress discussed Pak-US bilateral relations, regional peace and security, as well as the need to strengthen people-to-people relations between the two countries.
